Dr. Willis Maxwell is a native of El Paso, who graduated from Stephen F. Austin H.S. in 1968 and North Texas State University in Denton, Texas in 1972. He then pursued a career in dentistry at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, receiving his doctoral degree in 1976. He practiced general dentistry in Dallas, Texas for 3 years before returning home and opening an eastside office location at 1900 Lee Trevino for eight years (1979-1987).
Dr. Maxwell's desire for a more challenging career in dentistry led him to return to school in 1987 and specialize in orthodontics. He attended the UT Health Science Center in Houston, Texas for two years of residency training before returning to El Paso more than eighteen years ago to start his existing orthodontic practice.
Having treated several thousand orthodontic patients, Dr. Maxwell has established a personal standard of excellence in treatment and patient care that has become the label for his success. Most recently Dr. Maxwell has incorporated the SureSmile technology into his practice to provide more quality and a significant reduction in treatment time.
Dr. Maxwell and his beautiful wife Arlette have four children and enjoy the rigors of all the activities that each is involved in.
